Jesus said, “At the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6
The format for each meeting includes a message (often taught by a husband/wife team) followed by smaller group discussions. Weekly projects are assigned for the couples to complete outside of the class. Attendance at this class is required for couples who desire to get married by an Evergreen pastor or who desire to use an Evergreen facility for their wedding and/or wedding reception. For upcoming class dates, check our Announcements. This 11-week class is typically held on Monday evenings from 7-8:30pm at the Evergreen-Bloomington location. And is usually offered in the fall and spring of each year, beginning in mid-September and late-February.
