We believe the best opportunity for your children to know God is to combine two powerful influences: the church and the home. Together, we are stronger. Parents, join with us as we seek to develop sincere faith and a growing maturity in your children.

We understand that safety and security are among your child’s highest needs. Our goal is to provide a spiritually, emotionally and physically safe environment. All children, regardless of their spiritual journey, need to have a safe place where they know that it is okay to ask hard questions about faith. Physical safety is reflected through having room environments with age-appropriate equipment, background checks and interviews with all volunteers, nametags on all children, a registration process, and the enforcement of check-in and check-out procedures.
Evergreen Bloomington’s nursery is divided by age groups and managed by loving, caring workers. It’s our desire to provide the most caring and secure environment possible.
We also have a Video Café available to nursing mothers and nursery-aged, discontent children. This allows parents to monitor the service while caring for upset children.
We believe in a hands-on approach to learning with preschool children so they can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience.
Our kids progam offers the unique opportunity to work alongside parents in laying the foundational spiritual “building blocks” of truth in a child’s life. It’s our goal to provoke discovery and install three basic truths in the hearts of children:
Our goal is to create an environment for “tween” aged kids to develop healthy, strong friendships that they will carry into their teenage years and beyond. Evergreen Bloomington aims to help students understand and take personal ownership of their faith, while having fun and staying engaged.
Preteen is a foundational time of discovery and development in every young person’s life. They need the truth and we aim to help them find it.
This program, which runs from 6:30-8 p.m., is for any 3-year-old through 5th grader whose older sibling is in the Wednesday evening teen program.
Preschool children enjoy supervised playtime, while the grade school children engage in game time, story and music time, and Bible memorization through the Awana children’s ministry curriculum.
From 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday nights, teens have the opportunity to learn about God, life and reaching beyond themselves to help others. Parents can also grow in wisdom, relationship and influence with their teens, and feel supported by other families.
We follow a schedule of rotating between Small Groups, Large Groups and All Church Worship.
Parents of Teens, both moms and dads, are invited to join us Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8 p.m. The time is designed to strengthen, encourage and support parents on their parenting journey. It is a relaxing atmosphere where parents can connect and build friendships while participating in discussions about life, faith and parenting. Moms and dads meet separately, but groups are open to both married and single parents.
