BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY
Following the biblical example of the Good Samaritan, Evergreen wants to assist people with extraordinary financial needs. The Benevolence Ministry provides financial assistance and financial counseling for Evergreen members and attendees. Inner Healing Prayer Opportunities
I. What is Inner Healing/Theophostic Prayer?
Theophostic is a type of LISTENING PRAYER that often leads to INNER HEALING. Often times when a person is stirred up emotionally, the root cause is a misbelief held since childhood. During a prayer session misbeliefs are discovered and Jesus speaks truth. The truth of Christ truly sets people free. Praise God!
II. What happens in a typical session?
A typical ministry session lasts an hour to an hour-and-a-half. It is attended by the recipient, a prayer partner and the facilitator. The prayer partner prays silently throughout the session, takes notes for the recipient and provides accountability. The facilitator is a trained lay person who has studied Theophostic Prayer for at least one year. He/she has received and practiced providing many hours of prayer. Currently, facilitators are also required to pass a test given by the International Association of Theophostic Ministry.
III. How is an initial appointment set up?
