Count the attendance at Evergreen services. This requires 15-20 minutes during services. These figures help us determine everything from how many bulletins to print, church growth rate, when a new service needs to be added and when a new church should be planted.

Finances come under close scrutiny from both Christians and those outside the church. Evergreen desires to handle finances with integrity. If you have an eye for detail and can follow procedures carefully, this is a good place for you to volunteer your help at Evergreen. You will be placed on a schedule to process financial gifts once every several weeks.

The Multi-media Ministry is looking for people to run the visual media for either the weekend or Wednesday night services. We will train you in everything you will need to know until you feel comfortable running the programs.

The sound ministry is responsible for the operation and design and maintenance of the sound system. We strive to provide good sound that enhances our services and church events. Previous sound mixing experience is preferred but not required; we have trained several people with no experience. There is no fixed time commitment but due to the training requirements the minimum commitment is a year. Expect to spend about eight hours covering the three weekend services or about four hours for a Wednesday New Community service. Weekend services and Wednesdays are covered on a rotating basis.

The lighting in the Oak Grove auditorium helps establish a mood that is an important creative element for the weekend services. Lighting technicians design a lighting plan for the weekend services and carryout the plan with smoothness and continuity, thus maximizing the impact that the service has on its’ attendees.

Camera operators are needed for the Video Cafe. Camera experience is not necessary and training is provided. Need help Friday nights, 2 hours once every 4 weeks, with set-up and camera operation. Sundays need help running the camera during both services and tear down. Time commitment is about 4 1/2 hours once every 4 weeks.
