Our world celebrates strength. We admire the strong, the talented, the rich, and the beautiful. However, God flips those values on their head. He is drawn to the humble. He embraces the feeble. His power works best in weakness. Our weaknesses and difficulties never limit God, but display His strength. Join us this Christmas season as we find hope for the weak and focus on the weakest and strongest person of all: Jesus!
“CHRISTMAS: GOD'S STRENGTH THROUGH WEAKNESS”
Friday, December 22, 7:15 PM. and Sunday, December 24, 9:15 and 11:15 AM
Trophies. Awards. Prizes. The winners are the fastest and the strongest "super-stars.'" Have you ever tried to measure up to them, but crashed into the brick wall labeled “YOUR LIMITATIONS?" There’s always someone better, richer, more talented. We’re never enough. But maybe we’re looking at this all wrong.
The Apostle Paul once wrote, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” How is that even possible? It’s not only possible, it's what Christmas is all about. It’s a joyful and hopeful story of strength, that just looks like weakness.
Join us and learn how you can discover this strength. This is a story that can change your life. This is good news.
What does it take to grow spiritually? How much is up to me and how much is up to God? Why do I get stuck? And how can I walk in freedom? For nine weeks we will blaze a trail that answers these spiritual growth questions. Join us as we explore the critical essentials of spiritual growth and talk about the obstacles that keep us in spiritual quicksand.
