You are required to attend this 11 week premarital seminar Designed to give couples a godly perspective of marriage and equip them based on Biblical principles. Nonrefundable cost is $70/couple. Kids Against Hunger News
OUR COMMITTMENT TO HAITI CONTINUES
We are committed to feed the poor, widows and orphans in Haiti. For 2012 we hope to pack 570,000 meals and raise $80,000; but more importantly, we want to be compassionate, caring Christians who invite others to join us as we serve the poor & share the good news of Jesus. We are praying for 200 new people to visit Evergreen at packing sessions in 2012. Reach out and invite your unchurched friends, co-workers & neighbors.

Kids Against Hunger Run
Saturday, June 16, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Lake Calhoun, Minneapolis. Last year corporate sponsors donated $16,500 which bought over 70,000 meals for people in Haiti! We invite you to see if your company can be a sponsor this year. Many corporations have matching funds and $$ budgeted for charity and donations. Sponsorship levels begin at $250 and can go as high as your company desires. Every donation makes a difference! Materials are available at the KAH display. Questions? 2nd Annual Mega Sale
August 16 – 18, 2012. The 2nd Annual Kids Against Hunger/Missions Mega Sale is set! It's not too early to look in your closets, drawers, garages and basements for good quality clothes, furniture, electronics, household items, books etc. to donate to the Mega Sale. We'll need lots of volunteers and donations again this year and encourage you to mark your calendars!
Mid-Winter Singles Conference
THE FATHER WOUND

Why has this been so difficult for so many? There is one problem in our culture that seems to rise above the rest: “The Father Wound.” Come and hear pastors Bill Barnd & Jeff Groen share words of hope & healing! Join Evergreen-Bloomington, New Hope, the Urban Refuge, & other GC Churches for this 1/2–day spiritual shot-in-the-arm for young adults & singles of all ages! Pizza with Pastors
Sunday, February 26, 12:45-2:00 PM, Room 127. If you are new, warm up to Evergreen during lunch with our pastors and wives. We will have a quick lunch, a short intro to each pastor and informal visiting. Get to know us so we can get to know you!
Baptisms

EDGE Classes Open House!
Sunday, February 5 or 12, 10:45 AM or 12:45 PM, Room 121. Calling all parents of 5th & 6th grade boys and girls! Sunday morning "EDGE" classes have a NEW web-based curriculum. It's called "GRAPPLE". Please come to an "Open House" meeting for a brief demo of "GRAPPLE", our new web-based material, and to sign a consent form.
Men’s 2:8 Prayer
Friday, February 17, 9:00 PM-Midnight, Room 200. Men, according to 1 Timothy 2:8, we are to pray. Please join the pastors and other men of Evergreen in prayer every third Friday of the month (Sept. thru May). Our church, our families, and our city need our prayers.

The first Friday of the Month at 8:45 PM is ALWAYS Evergreen Singles FAC (Friday After Church). It's about friendships and bonding and laughing and caring. The event is decided based on the weather - see below. Bring about $5 and be with your people!! Children of Single Parents are welcome. We'll also have pop and water besided what is mentioned below.
