The 2019 Haiti trip was full of surprises. We were supposed to be a team of 19.  Because of political unrest in Haiti, 4 people could not join us on a later flight, so we were 15. We had several other schedule changes and plans that did not work out. We encountered passport confusion, sickness, no luggage for 3 days, 2 days of being “on hold” and lots of uncertainty.
